Did you know that play is a child’s most important occupation?

Having effective play skills supports children to build and understand their world, and the people within it.

The Play Skills group is a play-based small group program to help young children develop the skills required to engage in positive play experiences with others.

Structure of each session will be based on an imaginative play theme, and incorporate elements of:

    • music play (through nursery rhymes),
    • gross motor skills,
    • social interactions between peers, and,
    • development of pretend play.

Activities will be set up for children to move through, with opportunities for both structured and free play.

Play Skills is suitable for developing imaginative play skills for children aged 3-4 years.
