Our services
Paediatric Occupational Therapy
Bloom Wellbeing provides therapy services to children in the western suburbs of Adelaide. This can be at our private clinic in Port Adelaide, schools, preschools or childcare centres.
We bring fun to our therapy session by using a developmental play-based approach – at the core of occupational therapy is the concept of play. For children, play is their primary occupation, and how they learn, and it is through play that we can best support them to move forward with their development.
At Bloom Wellbeing, our Occupational Therapists utilise fun and engaging activities in therapy to assist your child to participate optimally in their everyday activities. We use a person-centred and family-centred approach to empower people to reach their goals and thrive.
Puberty Support
Are you looking to support a young autistic, neuro-diverse or disabled person in your life who is approaching puberty?
We have developed our suite of Puberty Plus programs to provide life skills and puberty education to people approaching or going through puberty. Offered as in-person group programs providing a social environment with peers, and also as a self-paced online program.
Motherhood Programs
Becoming a Mum is about so much more than just caring for a baby. It’s also about caring for yourself. Creating, learning, developing and nurturing your new “occupation” of motherhood.
Motherhood brings with it an adjustment on so many levels, and new Mums can often benefit from support and professional advice. Which is where Occupational Therapy comes in. At its heart, the profession of Occupational Therapy is all about helping people to function optimally in the different roles within their life – and what more important role is there than being a Mum?
